Set a timer for at least 3 minutes. Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths into your belly.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Relax your body.
Now breathe into your chest. Feel your chest expanding in all directions.
Stay there, in your heart center and have an easy flowing breath.
Notice the pause on the exhalations.
Notice any sensations or emotions that arise without any attachment or judgment.
If thoughts come in, acknowledge and let them float away. Bring your awareness back to your breath.
After the timer goes off, turn up the corners of your mouth and slowly open your eyes.
